Welcome to AC Motors

At AC Motors we have over 60 years of experience of refurbishing engines for all types of machines.
So you can be sure that with us you will get service that pays off – again and again.
In addition to our wide range of goods in stock, we can always help you obtain spare parts from the world’s leading manufacturers, including gaskets, linings, pistons, bearings and valves, as well as cylinder heads and complete engines from Perkins, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Kubota etc.
With our many years of experience in engine renovation and machining and honing of cylinders, we can also always help you with advice and guidance so that you are quickly up and running again.
At AC Motors, we are leading specialists in thermal application and spraying and can perform both large and small jobs.
With thermal application, heated metal powder is applied to worn parts, after which they are ground and polished to achieve the desired result. The work is done at a temperature that preserves the structure of the workpiece, and can often contribute to increased durability and longer service life.
We perform thermal application to bearing fittings, hydraulic gliders, piston rods, crane rotors, S-keys, bearing fittings in truck wheel hubs of the types chrome nickel, ceramic, plastic etc. – soft as well as hard types.
Sometimes tasks come through the door of a completely different calibre. Such as when the engines in one of Denmark’s oldest trains need repair. A task we are working on for the Danish Railway Museum.
“Sometimes you come across jobs of a more nostalgic nature like the old engines from the MO trains dating from 1935. They have been standing for a while at the factory in Viborg, where we are currently waiting for spare parts, pumps and nozzles,” says CEO Egon Jensen, who has been putting some work in to get the old MO train back on the rails. Now the heart – the engines – of the old trains will soon be tested.
Renovation of the engines is not an easy task, but with many years of experience of engines for every conceivable purpose, such as automobile, agriculture and marine, AC Motors was ideal for the task.
Meanwhile, the engine car is standing on its fixed holding position at the Danish Railway Museum in Odense. Here, volunteers are working on other parts of the renovation work.
